About Data doctrine

We equip, support, and guide data professionals working to bring order to messy systems

Data Doctrine is a U.S.-based blog and toolset for data professionals, launched in 2025 to make master data management practical, plainspoken, and powerful.

DataDoctrine is your no-fluff guide to modern Master Data Management.

We publish weekly insights, playbooks, and hands-on strategies that help data teams:

  • Build trust in their data
  • Navigate complex MDM challenges
  • Bridge the gap between business and tech

You’ll find practical examples, ready-to-use frameworks, and honest conversations about what it really takes to make master data work at scale.

Whether you’re cleaning up a data swamp, building a golden record, or convincing leadership to invest in data governance, we’re here to help you make sense of it all.

Our Mission

Our mission at Data Doctrine is simple: Make Master Data accessible, actionable, and actually useful.

About Me

Hi, I’m Tim.

I’m an enterprise architect who’s spent the last 15+ years working with master data, systems integration and enterprise platforms.

I’ve been in the trenches with SQL Server, SSIS, and API pipelines. I’ve also led governance initiatives and helped teams turn chaotic data into assests they can trust.

I started Data Doctrine to share what I’ve learned, without the jargon or the hype.

If you’re into master data management, T-SQL scripts, open-source tooling, and battle-tested strategies for cleaning up messy data, you’re in the right place.

When I’m not building frameworks or writing about data, I’m spending time with my wife of over 25 years and our five kids.

Let’s fix bad data one system at a time.
